This limited release beer was aged for a full year in 8 year old bourbon barrels and will be available on draft at select locations throughout American Craft Beer Week. Look for updates throughout the week of May 11th on possible events surrounding this beer's market release. Bottles follow close behind and will be on shelf in 750ml bottle-conditioned format the following week. This is a limited release beer so don't miss out on taking some home!

Now in 6-Packs

News Alert! News Alert! Three Taverns now in 6-packs! Our best customers have long pined that our beers came 6 at a time instead of 4, and so we finally decided to satisfy that longing and officially moved all of our year round beers into 6-packs last week. You may still see some 4-packs hanging in the market for a short period, but our 6-packs are hitting the shelves now and are showing up around town. Just in time for the summer heat, more beer for your money from Three Taverns. Cheers!

News From Our Founder

Dear Friends,

April marks the beginning of new things here at Three Taverns, starting with the launch of our new website. Weve been hard at work these last 5 months designing a new site that reflects the deeper philosophy of why we exist as a brewery and our mission to unlock new doorways of experience for those who drink our beers. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Alongside the launch of our new website is the recently launched A Night On Ponce IPA. This newest release is the second beer in our Outlier series, accompanying Prince of Pilsen as our only non Belgian-style beers. Weve long been curious at the brewery how American ale yeast would transform our flagship A Night In Brussels IPA. Curiosity finally got the better of us, so we switched our house strain of Belgian yeast for an American strain and transformed the same recipe coming off the brewing system into a distinctly different beer. These twin sons of different mothers can now guide your understanding of the significant impact yeast has on the aroma and flavor complexity of beer. Having the same clean, dry finish of A Night In Brussels, the American ale yeast unleashes lush new notes of citrus fruit in the aroma and the flavor resulting in a very drinkable American IPA. With the overwhelming positive response from the market after only 4 weeks of availability, we quickly added this experimental beer to our core line-up with bottles slated for release in 6-packs sometime in May.

Speaking of 6-packs, another transformation taking placed this month will be the transition from 4-packs to 6-packs of all our year round 12oz. beers. Soon to be a part of Three Tavernspast, our 4-pack offerings of Single Intent, A Night In Brussels IPA and White Hops will be available moving forward in standard 6-pack format. While 4-pack is standard for Belgian beers, we feel it is time to move our year-round offerings into a package more familiar to the American craft consumer.

April also ushers in the return of Quasimodo, our Spring/Summer seasonal beer. The second annual Quasimodo day at the brewery this Saturday, April 11th, welcomes the 2nd release of our brewerys most highly acclaimed beer. Draft and 750ml bottles hit the market the following week with a new surprise coming a little later in April, the first release of Quasimodo in 12oz. 4-packs. While not bottle conditioned like the larger 750ml format, these smaller bottles require less commitment and more opportunities to drink and enjoy this beloved quadrupel ale.

Some of you were present at Marchs Secret Stash Bash at the prado in Sandy Springs when Departed Spirit, our bourbon barrel aged version of Theophan the Recluse won Best Beer as voted by the attendees of the festival. We were overwhelmed with joy to win such a coveted trophy from among some of the best US and local craft breweries and amazingly complex, limited release beers. Aged for 1 year in 8 year old bourbon barrels, this second in our barrel aged offerings, will be available in limited supply on draft and in 750ml bottle conditioned bottles at the end of April. Youll want to get a bottle to share now and to age for later.

Cheers!

Brian

2nd Annual Quasimodo Day

Join us at The Parlour this Saturday the 11th from 2:30 – 4:30 for the 2015 release of the beloved hunchback, our 10% Belgian-style quadrupel, Quasimodo.  Joining the celebration of this year’s release will be Heavy Bells 2014, our Bourbon barrel aged Quasimodo, and Feest Noel 2014, our Christmas spiced Quasimodo. See you Saturday for the ringing of the bell.

Cheers!
