Theophan The Recluse 2.0 | 2016 Brewery Bottle Release Tour

We are excited to announce the release of Theophan the Recluse 2.0. We have adjusted the recipe for the 2016 release of Theophan by dialing down the lighter adjunct sugars and dialing up the heavier and darker malt sugars for a more viscous version of our Belgian-style Russian Imperial Stout. In other words, we dialed down the Belgian character and dialed up the Russian Imperial character. The familiar intensely dark flavors are present as always, but the dry, or as some say, thinner, finish has been replaced with a rounder and more full-bodied mouthfeel. This newer version takes Theophan to the next level of malty goodness.

Join us this Friday and Saturday, Jan 8th & 9th, where in addition to the standard $12 brewery tour and tasting, that will include a tasting of Theophan 2.0, we will be offering an optional Release Tour that includes a guided tour of our bourbon barrel room, a commemorative 11oz. teardrop goblet and a 750ml bottle-to-go of the 2016 Theophan. The special Release Tour can be purchased for an additional $10 each. Look for Theophan 2.0 in the market on draft and on shelf the week of 1/11.

Cheers and Happy New Year!

Introducing Raspberry Sour Asylum

Raspberry Sour Asylum, Rhapsody in Red, is a fruit variation on Sour Asylum #2, the second in our series of lacto-fermented sour ales. Matured on fresh raspberry puree and balanced by a pleasing acidity from the lactobacillus strain added to the kettle, this tart and fruit forward sour is one of our brewers' favorites.

Join us in The Parlour on New Year’s Eve for the release of Raspberry Sour Asylum, Raspsody In Red. This very limited release sour will go on tap NYE and continue to be available throughout January at our brewery tasting room. Only a few kegs were released to market and will show up randomly over the next few weeks, but your best and surest way to try this newest in our series of sours is at our brewery tasting room, The Parlour.

Sour Asylum #3, Oud Tannenbaum

Sour Asylum #3, Oud Tannenbaum, is the third and newest in our series of lacto-fermented sour ales. Darker than our previous sours, SA#3 has a mild acidity from the lactobacillus added to the brew kettle. And in keeping with the spirit of this season when decorated trees populate homes all over the country, this tart brown ale, affectionately named Oud Tannenbaum, is matured for weeks on cedar, enhancing the dark malts and imparting a dry cedar character to the finish. A draft only limited release beer, Oud Tannenbaum is available now in market and being served throughout December in our brewery tasting room.

Hoplicity Medals In Debut

Saturday, December 5th marked the debut outside of the brewery of our new double IPA, Hoplicity, at the annual Atlanta Strong Beer Festival. Pouring alongside over 50 of Georgia's biggest and boldest beers, the crew at Three Taverns was ecstatic to learn the judges awarded our newest and hoppiest beer the silver medal in Best Of Show.

This super drinkable 9% winter IPA, noted by some as “dangerously delicious”, is showing up on taps around town this week. Only available on draft for this inaugural winter season, it will be in market until Spring. Cheers!

This draft only winter seasonal will be available around town starting December 1st and pouring in our tasting room throughout the winter season.

Decorated beautifully for the festive Christmas season as only The Parlour can be, and with the live sounds of holiday jazz from Joe, once again voted in Creative Loafing as the 2015 Best Local Jazz Act, this is a holiday party not to be missed.

After a year of aging Feest Noel in a small number Willet barrels, the familiar spice aroma and flavor from this Christmas quad meld beautifully with the aroma and flavors of bourbon and wood.
