Title: Astronomers do Astronomy and You Can Too
Summary: The history of astronomy is filled with many different types of people, from amateurs to professionals. With the recent explosion of data from telescopes in space and on the ground, the task of analyzing the sheer amount of new data is becoming exponentially complicated. In this talk, we will highlight historical examples of everyday members of the community making significant contributions to the field of astronomy and discuss current, present-day community-science research projects that anyone (including you!) can participate in.
