Title: You Are Made of Astrophysics

Summary: The elements that you are made of were all formed through some astrophysical process. The carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and everything else that makes up our world (that isn’t hydrogen or helium) was fused together inside a star, or blasted with radiation during a supernova, or even flung out from two colliding neutron stars. In this talk we will go over the ways these elements are created and how we measure them across the universe.
