Part of their limited Outlier Series and in the style of a single malt whiskey, this very limited release was distilled from an unusually thick batch of Helm’s Deep in 2019 and then aged for 4 years in a former Hellbender Bourbon barrel. Aromas of heavily roasted malts on the nose translate on the palate into rich cocoa, lush dark fruits, a hint of cereal, and dense oak. Just like the beer from which it was distilled, the finish offers a complexity that evolves into a layer of flavors that change with each sip.
